topamax

I take topamax and celexa for bipolar. I dont know if its because of the holidays but I am extremely maniky and switching to days of depression. My psychiatrist increased by topamax and celexa. He said my next visit he if this is working he wants to try a new depakote that just came out that does not cause weight gain, has anyone heard of this?? I dont know if he is just trying to trick me ....
