I have had night sweats since I started on SSRIs. Prozac gave me night sweats and now Effexor gives me horrible night sweats to the point of having to change my night clothes 1-2x in the night!!
The only time I don't have them is 1 week right after my period. The doctor explained it this way:
at night a certain hormone in your body raises and the Effexor interacts with that hormone to produce excessive sweating . Nothing we can do about it.Joelle
