I have gained weight on ADs (including Celexa), but I do NOT recommend cutting your dosage. I did this and had a major rebound depression at which time my doctor switched me to effexor and lithium and I spent nearly two months in a major fog.
I'm back on 20 mg of celexa and feeling much better.
If you do reduce your meds, please let your doc know so he can monitor your progress ( or in my case... regress!)
