I'm no expert but just thought I'd add my experience w/ Buspar. I started it 4 weeks ago and hated it. I was taking 10 mg. in the AM and then 10 at night. At that point, I was also starting Wellbutrin. I felt awful and extremely anxious and aggitated. No relief whatsoever as far as my anxiety goes.
In the last 2 weeks, I've started taking 15 mg at night (I'm off the Wellbutrin and currently, taking Prozac) and I think it is helping me, I sleep like a baby.
I only take 5 mg during the day and it seems to help my anxiety. But it could also be the Prozac doing its job. I dunno what to say.I haven't quite decided if this drug is really worth anything or not. Both my new shrink and therapist seem to think it is worthless especially at such low doses.
I think my shrink said that the dosage for anxiety is 60 mg.
