I haven't had your experience but I just wanted to say that I'm glad you found a good combination for your kids. I'm sure you are relieved of the frustration of the medicine trying routines. Best wishes for continued success!

I have twin 8 year old boys who suffer from sever ADHD,
> anxioties and a sleeping disorder. They started remeron one week ago and it has seemed to work wonders
> for their sleeping problems and anxioties and we have been able to cut down on the amount of dexidrine used for their adhd. I guess I should tell you what the medicines were before last week: 10 mg of dexidrine at 7am/12pm/3pm 10 mg prozac and 1.5 mg of risperadol.
> now they are on 7.5 mg of remeron at 7am & 10mg dexidrine at 12pm and 7.5 mg remeron at 6:30 pm.
> I have said many times this week I have recieved a mirical from God (since i was at my wits end last week and i asked Him for help because I didnt feel I would be able to handle another week of the boys acting the way they had been for the last 2 months) or a combination of both a mirical and the brilliance of their Dr. for trying remeron. I have seen little side effects from the remeron except the increased appitite but they had that since they were on the riseradol.
> I would appriciate any feed back from anyone but especially those who have experienced this medication with Kids.
