reboxetine withdrawl???

Posted by cole on October 24, 2000, at 15:11:26

ok, i feel like i'm a little nuts here, but i stopped taking reboxetine about 3 weeks ago, cold turkey after 4 mg 2x daily. i felt i had to stop it quickly because i was getting more and more depressed every day. i am having a similar GI response to withdrawl from zoloft. i quit zoloft cold turkey from 100 mg/day several years ago, and although i didn't have the electric shocks or panic response, i had severe GI problems: my entire GI tract felt like it was on fire, and i was diagnosed with reflux disease. i went to a gastroenterologist at the time who prescribed prilosec which seemed to help somewhat. i am now experiencing the same pain i experienced with the zoloft withdrawl. there is nothing i can correlated with the onset of these symptoms other then stopping the reboxetine. i'm still on prilosec and it isn't doing anything for this pain. has anyone had a similar experience? any ideas? i'm considering trying to ride this out, antacids help temporarily, but it isn't good to continually pop tums.
