I too am trying Wellbutrin at the moment, day 12 and I've gone up to 2x150mg. Seems to have little effect on me apart from side effects. I am still very lethargic and lacking in motivation. I'll give it till my first pack runs out, and if no joy by then I'll go back to reboxetine plus Paxil.
I am also going to try deprenyl somewhere along the way in case I need my dopamine enhancing.

> Aside from making me depressed at times, the Wellbutrin 150mg SR 1x a day that I'm taking seems to work on and off. I'm taking it for ADD and anxiety. Ritalin worked well for the ADD but excacerbated (is that the right spelling?) the anxiety. I think it made me hyperfocusable, thus not allowing my thoughts to flow from one to another and such as well. Basically blunting my imagination. Wellbutrin has helped me feel great at times... not anxious, able to think and feel the way I want. BUT, it then suddenly doesn't work as well for a while. Has it just been pooping out slowly? Or is my occasional drinking (6-8 beers) and cigarette smoking somehow countering its effects?

> Another Question... when the Wellbutrin IS working, and I feel undepressed, unanxious, uninhibited, etc, it that simply because somehow it's raising my seratonin levels indirectly?? Should I try another SSRI for better, more reliable results? I've tried Remeron and Paxil, with little or no results. How about Zoloft?

> P.S.God, I hate to keep dragging this Wellbutrin thing on, but as you can see I'm not only an anxious person, I'm a little obsessive as well.

> P.P.S. Guys, thank you all for your advice and info so far. I now know more about Wellbutrin than my Pdoc!
