> I won't settle for "just ok." Tackling the severe clinical depression I experienced --- including enough meds to fill a small pharmacy --- taught me the importance of vitality in life. Yes, I've been knocked to my knees with a thousand pounds of rocks on my back by the depression; Yes, I've trembled so badly that my teeth chattered from both anxiety and panic attacks. Those are the personal hells I've experienced, literally winding up temporarily psychologically crippled. However, my fight isn't to just get rid of the disorders, and I won't settle for just ok. I'm going to keep fighting to live a full, vital life, filled with ups and downs, sadness and joy, success and failure, but with all of the richness life has to offer.
SALUTE! I like your determination Coral!
You know what? As difficult as the whole mess seems, it actually comes down to a very simple fact...your symptoms are caused by one, or a couple, of ten different general categories of brain chemical imbalance. Find the medication that targets that chemistry directly and you will experience total cure. Simple to say, not so easy to do. But there are hundreds, thousands, perhaps millions of cases to prove that this is true.
I'm curious. Could you share with us 1)What medications have you tried, and 2)What were the responses to each?
