Sorry to beat this Wellbutrin thing to death, but I haven't been able to find any real facts about how/what it does exactly. I've read it's a weak reuptake inhibitor of Seratonin and Norepinephrine, and also (even weaker) Dopamine. However, I've also read that these reuptake properties are only significant at enormous doses, like maybe 600mg a day.
I've also read a theory that it modulates norepinephrine flow in certain parts of the brain. This sounds like it's on the right track.
I just tried Edronax, which raises Norepinephrine levels, with no where near the level of help Wellbutrin provided. In fact it did nothing but wake me up a little. So I guess I agree that Wellbutrin does more than just raise NE levels.
Does anyone know any info about Wellbutrin's method of action? Or does anyone at least know some good places to look? Thanks guys.
