Hi, there are anti-depressant she can take and not have to wean. I was in the same boat (only my daughter was younger). Zoloft is what they gave me. It turned out I couldn't handle the side effects, but that's another story. Anyway, if your friend isn't nursing all that often there her choice in drugs is much wider.
