I recently spoke with a group of doctors out in California who are using EEG analysis and then matching the findings with a database for treatment options.
The idea is that certain signs can be identified on the EEG that would predict certain responses to certain class of medicines. The idea is not unlike Dr. Jenson's in which the doctors are less concerned with the diagnosis, often which can be a limiting factor in treating the patiant with on one or two classes of drugs.
I am kind of skeptical of it, but the idea seems to be heading the right direction.
