Yes, I have found Remeron works. I did gain weight on it. Remeron alone has not fixed things completely. I've had to augment with other things like lithium and Wellbutrin. Right now Remeron is augmenting the Wellbutrin.
Sedation goes away. I found weight gain plateaued as long as I exercised, watched what I ate and stayed away from lithium.
