I'll agree with John here (as I have before), Lamictal is far superior to lithium. Assuming you are bipolar, the problem with me was I overshot and got hypomanic- and that was while I was on depakote as an adjunct. I had no problems with sedation, quite the reverse. As far as zypexa (and I am still fighting the 20 pounds I gained on it), have you tried risperdal? I had no weight gain, although I did get agitated and seroquel was added at night. Hope this helps.
