> Ok -- I am miserable. I am fatigued, sleep somewhere between 10-16 hours a day; zone off at my desk; feel like I am moving in slow-mo. Achey. Urinate non-stop. Up several times a night b/c of this latter issue. Forgetful -- like midsentence I can't remember what I was saying.. Can't concentrate -- which is a major problem with my first year of law school starting next week. I Lost 40lbs two years ago, went on celexa for depression, gained it all back and thensome (was on Meridia, and had to exercise 1.5 hours a day to get it off). Binge eating. Went on Wellbutrin to combat fatigue. Off celexa and wellbutrin, now on Effexor xr 150mg.

This time, she also requested a cbc w/histogram diff; checm 7 profile; liver profile;ESR Westergren; TSH, T3, T4-Free.

And, it says that it will make me sleepy during the day. I don't need to be any more sleepy. She said it would boost the effexor? My pdoc is out for the week, and the two of them are suppose to talk next week.

Tracy, I've heard that people take Trazodone with Effexor-XR, to improve sleep. I think Effexor-XR interferes with sleep, for me. At first, I was really tired, but then after a couple of weeks I had more energy. I've been on Effexor-XR for 8 months now (375 mg/day), and except for a rash (which may or may not be from the Effexor-XR), I'm doing OK. At night, I was taking Serzone (which is related to Trazodone) to help me sleep. Recently, I substituted Benadryl (which I just hate) to combat the itchy rash (which appears at night). So far, I've lost l2 lbs. on Effexor-XR (all I had to do was just quit drinking sodas with sugar...l500 calories per day, for me!). Hope things get better for you.
