MB-tics

Posted by Eddie Stefurak on July 21, 2000, at 9:19:53

MB--I'm not knowledgeable about taking a wellbutrin, Buspar combo specifically (I'm thinking about swithching to Wellbutrin as well so keep me posted) by I do know that for sure, any long term use of a D-2 antagonist does carry a risk of motor movement problems and tics. But, I thought buspar actually a mild agonist of dopamine, if so, your tics may be due to something else. Tardive Diskenesia (don't know if i spelled it right!) is most common in people who have been on anti-psychotics for a long time since these drugs are DA antagonists that diminish hallucinations.
