NARI's

Posted by kalib on July 17, 2000, at 8:16:35

I am interested to know if anyone is familiar with NARI's (Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors)? I've heard that negative side effects such as apathy, fatigue, sluggishness, etc... are not associated with these types of antidepressants. I've also read that most of the NARI's are not available in the United States. I've read about the NARI, Reboxetine, and read that the FDA is on its way to approving this drug for use in the U.S... Though, I'm interested to learn about other NARI's and there availability. One foreign website that I wrote to concerning Reboxetine said they do not carry it, have no plans to do so and recommended a drug "Deanxit". I'm not familiar with this drug and could not find information on it in English. I would appreciate information regarding the availability of Reboxetine and other NARI's. Thank You! Kalib AKA, Dennis
