Karen,
Well, in a fit of what some might call mania, my sister has managed to destroy a second computer (she only bought this one in December, and purchased a service warranty) and is off to buy a new one. I have no idea when we'll see her here again.
She likes this new pdoc since he lets her talk, and that's what she needs. She was worried that he might be angry with her if she had problems with a med (like her last pdoc), and he assured her he wouldn't, but he did expect her to take her meds. From what I've heard, he sounds friendly and sympathetic. However, in case your mom is smoke sensitive, be aware that he smokes a pipe during his sessions, but it didn't seem to bother my sister. He gave her at least an hour the first visit (which wasn't cheap), but from now on she'll get a full 30 minutes, and her insurance will cover most of it.
Since I've never seen him personally, I can't recommend him on here, although I would have no problem seeing myself from everything I've heard. If you're still interested, feel free to email me and I'll give you his name.
Monte Carlo? That sounds familiar, but I'm not sure I've been there. Was it in an old pink building? I like the "not too expensive" part, by the way.

Lunch is not too expensive and casual. I used to meet my husnad there every Friday. I recommend the Tournedos Rossini. Don't forget the Chocolate Mousse - light, airy and wonderful. Say hi to Margaret for me. Bon Apetite!
