Hi Robyn - I've been taking Celexa for 6 weeks. Take 20 mg at bedtime. I'm taking it for depression, but my depression manifests as anxiety & obsessiveness. I'm feeling much better regarding both. I wonder what your doctor would say about increasing the dosage. I have no idea if that's a good idea or not. All I know is that it's certainly worked big-time for me. Hopefully someone else will give you some additional input.
If you want more details from me just ask.

Take care, Kath

> Does anyone out there take Celexa for Obsessiveness. I've always been slightly obsessive in my thinking but since February, when I went into anxious depression and started taking Celexa, it seems to have gotten a lot more intense. And I tend to have obsessive thoughts about the most upsetting and disturbing things whereas before I would obsess about everyday mundane things. The obsessive thoughts now are about things that are much more unrealistic and the small little piece of rational me knows that I'm being ridiculous. But I can't seem to stop or control it. Any suggestions would be helpful.
