Tina,

a couple of things.

depending on the PA symptoms, a beta blocker may help. They help most if you have mainly cardiovascular or adrenergic mediated things like racing heart, BP spikes, flushing, sweating, shakes & tremors. They work in a day or so & are very helpful for some. they do little for anxiety itself, but the rivotril should help with that.

3 used. inderal (3x /day), pindolol ( 2x /day), atenolol (Tenormin) 1x /day. Of the 3 pindolol may speedup the effective onset of psych drugs as well as relieve some of the epinephrine related effects of PA.
in the archives pindolol also helped a few people with ringing in the ears from meds.

you can speed up the onset of the rivotril by letting it melt under your tongue. tastes like crap, but works a lot faster.
