Yes, sometimes I feel like the posterboy for Zyprexa because of all the meds I've tried and currently take it is the one that brought the most reality into my life. Some people react very well to it and others can't get past the first three days of side effects. It can be very sedating to start and some people just can't get past the initial grogginess and "zombie" like episodes. For me that went away within two weeks and hasn't caused a problem since. I take mine early in the evening and it still helps me sleep through the night without being groggy in tthe morning.

One good thing about giving Zyprexa a try is that unlike AD's you will pretty much know within a few days if it is making a difference in the way you think. My cocktail is down to Zyprexa at night, Wellbutrin and Adderall in the morning and occasionally Naltrexone when I feel I need it.

The thing that Zyprexa really did for me was to stop my mind from running away from me with obsessive destructive thoughts. It has put things on a more even playing field. I've even been able to start taking Klonopin as needed rather than every day because the anxious thought patterns are being better controlled.

I hope other swho have tried this will respond to your ppost as I do think it is worth at least looking into with your doctor.

Good Luck,
Chris

> I'd like to hear from people who take zyprexa in connection with another drug. I take a combination of Wellbutrin and Zoloft and I'd like to replace the zoloft. I read one posting on here from Chris K who reported that the WB Zyprexa combination left him with few side effects and that it was particularly good in addressing his suicidal ideation. Since obsessive suicidal thoughts are sometimes a real problem for me as well, this drew my attention. Zyprexa is not a drug I've ever heard of and I certainly don't know anything about it so any info would be welcome.
