I think this is important because you speak so highly of it, that I wanted to make sure it wasn't part of a combination you are taking. Thanks, shellie
Hi Shellie,
I do apologize because I think my enthusiasm for Adrafinil could be slightly misleading without the whole picture. I do take 7.5mg Remeron as well. And I take one dose of SJW a day. I've been taking those for so long (2 years?)I often don't even think of it. While other medications and variables have changed over time, Remeron 7.5mg and single dose SJW have been constants most of that time.I know for sure Remeron alone doesn't do much for my depression. Especially at 7.5mg. That's only 1/2 of the smallest minimum dose. But with or without Adrafinil, I do notice some deterioration in my mood when I stop taking it. So I know it's doing something, regardless of the miniscule dose. The main thing I notice with both Remeron and single dose SJW is that my sleep structure is so good. Without either one, I get lousy sleep. That's why I like them....good sleep architecture. At those small doses they aren't doing all that much for my depression.
I've tried Remeron in combination with so many other medications. They all had unsatisfactory results. The miniscule dose of Remeron probably helps, but Adrafinil is the major player. It could be there's some special synergistic harmony between the two, which would explain why they work so well at my very low doses.
