> Sorry about that Cam. I just thought you could probably answer this one as well as the ladies. I was wondering if AD's or benzo's interfere with or interact with birthcontrol pills or vice versa? I'm about to start BC pills again and I'm unsure what to expect. Last time, they made me so ill I had to get off them. Is this common, do you know? Any and all responses from anyone would be very much appreciated.

I think nausea is a common reaction to BC pills. I think it has something to do with the body reacting to the hormones as if you were pregnant. But that may be false info. I had to get off BC pills a couple of months ago because of my blood pressure rising. Now I'm on a lower dose HRT and I think its making me feel alittle queasy, kind of the way I felt when I was pregnant. I took Papaya Enzyme (which is available OTC in vitamin departments) and it really helped my stomach calm down. So I have started doing that again and it works. Also, never letting your stomach go empty, eat smaller meals throughout the day.I hope I'm not too off target with my response. You didn't specify how the BCP made you sick, so I assumed it was nausea.
Hope this helps.
