My dear Elise:But what book?
"Pilgrim's Progress"? Forget it! That dirge wouldn't conjure my attentiveness, much less
interest, either ......but on the other hand ...
An illustrated edition of the "Kama Sutra" (with 8" by 10" glossies)? Now *that* would
pump up my attentiveness, drug or no drug.And look what you are doing as a result of this drug: you've become more animated and active;
you're getting things done; you're getting out of the house, all of which is directing your
attentiveness, that which was once absent in all these things prior, to other endeavors
and this is just wonderful. So the drug is working and you're a success. Be happy.Attentiveness is not merely dictated by one's desire to read, or not read, a book.
Look at the BIG PICTURE and realize how much you HAVE DONE SO FAR.
When the right book strikes you, you'll read it.
But stay away from Barbara Cartland novels, please! :-)I remain,
a sick,
