What worked for me was this: I broke the 50mg tab into tiny chunks of roughly 6mg sizes. Use a sharp knife or even a hammer.(Each tab broken into about 6 or 8 chunks) Take just one chunk a day for a couple days. Then take two little chunks, one in a.m. and one in afternoon. Then after a few days, three chunks. Keep going. Before you know it, you'll be up to the full dose at which time you can take it all at once daily and not even feel it. Really.
You may or may not know this, but Naltrexone added to any SSRI (includes Zoloft) has been the magic potion to cure longstanding stubborn depressions for some people. So you may get more benefit from it than was planned. Cool, huh?
