Kath: Since depression and general neuro-mess up can run in the family do you think it's possible that your son is having the same trouble? My mom was clinically depressed when I was little but didn't recognize it as that so it was never talked about. I and my brother have inherited this deficeincy in brain chemical and I wonder if you should have your son evaluated somehow? He may be dealing with his own kind of hell and burying it under alcohol and drugs as some of us here have done in the past. Just an idea, maybe way of base. Take care---Tina
> Hi Tina - glad to know things are improving! You can learn more about my situation under "Hope...kids...drugs..." - I replied to Kathie. Seems both of us have kid problems! I'm feeling better re side-effects (I'm on Celexa - so we'll see what happens). This is the first time I've been on A/D's. I cut the dose back to 10 mg at bedtime. This is the 3rd day of that & I sleep well, few side effects, but it's not working as well re anxiety. It had helped that at 20 mg in the morning for the first 3 days I took it, but then I had either bad side effects or a terrible case of flu or a combo.
