Thank you, Tina! I did experience some very mild nausea when I first took it but it seems to have diminished now. And, I think my jeans are a little looser! This is very encouraging. I don't seem to have the constant hunger and cravings that I did before. I'm very hopeful that this medication can get me through these hard times and not cause more distress (like weight gain). I am so glad that I have a medication that can help me stay positive and pleasant. I feel like the "old me" again. Thanks again for your advice, Tina. It's really nice to know that there is support out there. It's not often easy to find people who can relate.

> Celexa is the kind of med you can take anytime, with or without food. I started taking it at night but found I forgot sometimes so started taking it in the morning. Makes no difference, in my case anyway. Take it at the time of day that you would best be able to remember it.
> A lot of people who have reactions to meds such as nausea or dizziness prefer to take their meds at night since they can be asleep for the bad reactions but that's the only reason I can think of for taking it at night. Take it whenever you're comfortable, all you can do is experiment with your own reactions. Good luck, keep in touch--- tina

Even though my eating habits had not really changed, my metabolism had slowed down to the point that I was gaining weight rapidly. I also could not muster up enough energy to get on the treadmill or weight lifting machine. I must admit, though, that I really felt calm on it. My doctor just prescribed Celexa for me. And, after reading all the previous postings from many of you, I have decided to give it a try. I don't take any other medication and was wondering if any of you could give me advise on the best time to take it. Morning or evening? Many thanks.
