Dosage increase, does it decrease side-effects?

I first want to say that I love this board. I would be upset to see a fee only because I know it may reduce the amount of people using it. I sometimes get a kick out of reading the boBB stuff, but I too do not like it when it gets threatening. Anyway, here is my question. As the above post, is there any validity to the practice of increasing doses of ssri's to decrease side-effects such as weight gain and sex drive.
