This is my wknd to work, so just a short post.
I am feeling much better. The last two days I built a rock garden in my little yard, did a ton of clearing and cleaning the outside areas. Then...the inside, holy shit. I cleaned everything in this place and I mean everything. I've always smoked in this place and almost needed a hammer and chisel to clean the windows, etc. I no longer smoke inside, ever! And in a week or so am going to stick on a patch and give no smoking a chance.
I'm still at the golf place till I find something else. About a month ago, I told myself, as bad as this job is, I will not let it beat me. I will learn what I need to learn to be very good at it. I think that attitude was partly a catalyst for what's happening now.
Sold my drum kit, ouch, bought a lot of new clothes, including a suit, which my brother helped with. NOW, when an opportunity presents itself, I'm ready.
I don't like hitting bottom but sometimes I thrive on adversity. I'd rather not be tested so much in this life but realize that lessons keep repeating until they are learned. More BS'ing later...gotta go.Love,
Phil
