I've been on a couple of different med cocktails during the last year, all of which had dosage levels that were continually being adjusted. The following three are the biggies:
1.Amitriptyline, Adderall, Prozac and Wellbutrin.
2.Amitriptyline, Adderall, Wellbutrin.
3.Amitriptyline, Adderall, Serzone. Now, I'm in the process of changing p-docs and the new one is reading the doctor notes of the old one. One item of interest is that my old p-doc was going to proceed to add Prozac back into the current med equation, Ami-Adderall-Serzone & Prozac.
As it stands, I'm feeling less depressed, no migraines, and I'm sleeping quite well. I'm still experiencing panic-attacks, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, disorganized, and not getting stuff done. That is a description of what Prozac can do for me, *if* I have the depression under control.
I'm a little anxious to add Prozac to the mix, how am I going to tell which is doing what, how, why, and when? Nefazodone (Serzone) is non-linear and drug-to-drug interactions are definitively possible and hard to avoid. Amitriptyline's (Elavil) blood levels are increased by all the rest (Proz, Add, Serz). When should I worry about Serotonin Syndrome and the like? And at what dose and which med?
Anyone want to give me a clue :-)
