flashes, a little like vertigo, but minor

Posted by dotah on May 15, 2000, at 13:52:09

Lately I've been experiencing these wierd little flashes. They seem to come on randomly, but commonly three or four at a time. They're a little like the sensation of vertigo but don't include dizzyness. I geuss they're like tiny rushes, they deffinately have a visual (white light) component and a barely detectable auditory element. The physical sensation might be compared to falling, but only inside my head. I think I need to emphasize that, whatever this is, its minor -- really more annoying than anything else.

I'm a 40 year old male taking effexor 150mg/day.

Anybody have any idea what this is, or how to deal with it? Thanks in advance.
