Cam not only "got" it, but added to it! I'm astonished! Cam W., you old barn-burner, I thought you were about 20 years too young and about 1500 miles too far north. Like, wow!
Any other readers notice the typos, poor grammar, and errors in usage and punctuation in this report by a bunch of friggin' medical geniuses? I hope their knowledge of manic-depressive disorders is more comprehensive than their knowledge of written English.
More to the point, for the two of you with the patience to have read thus far: what do you think of the dictate that a diagnosis of bipolar ALWAYS indicates combining a mood stabilizer with an antidepressant (as opposed to the use of an antidepressant without a mood stabilizer)? Am I just an exception to the rule? Am I getting a "mood stabilizing" effect from thryroid, a beta blocker and a stimulant? I don't think so....
Didn't I see you at the Renaissance Faire in Malibu in 1969, man? There was a guy there (could have been you, Cam) with a lamb on a brightly colored ribbon-leash. I asked him, "What's your lamb's name?" He said, "'Sunshine' if you're a vegetarian; 'Chops' if you're not."
See you at the next love-in at Griffith Park.
You-know-who ;-)
