Panic and Effexor

For the last 2 years I've been taking 75mg of Effexor Xr for a panic disorder. I tried to stop recently and the withdrawal symptoms are terrible. I found this web site today and read Cam's response regarding withdrawal. I called my MD and told him about adding the 10 mg of Prozac for 2 weeks. Hopefully this will work and then I can go off of the medicine. Has anyone every gone of off medication for a Panic disorder with good results?
