Hi Kathie,
Thanks for the encouragement. It's amazing how a few caring words can give you strength... Here's the update - my friend got committed to the psychiatric hospital. This is such a relief because she was telling everyone (very convincingly) that she's never felt better in her life. Obviously someone picked up on something. I should call her parents to get the complete story (since they haven't called me yet - harrumph!).
I'd like to give her doctor the "what for"! If it wasn't for the internet, I wouldn't have had a clue about possible adverse reactions of her medication. The fact that she's in the hospital should be a wake-up call to him! I'll keep you posted what happens to her.
