Amineptine: what does this mean: Scott, CamW

Posted by AndrewB on April 21, 2000, at 15:10:01

This is a quote for m a depression study abstract:

Chronic treatment with amineptine induces downregulation of dopamine d2, beta- and alpha 2 adrenergic receptors.....

What does this imply, 'downregulation'?
