Depakote cause nausea?

> I am taking 2000mg of depakote. A few days after I raised the dose from 1500 I started having a sort of intestinal nausea. No vomiting etc. At first it was constant and now it comes about an hour and a half after I eat anything and hangs around for a long time. I am not sure if it is the depakote or just coincidence and I should see my regular doc. This has been going on close to 2 weeks now. I have started skipping lunch at work so I don't have to feel nauseous as much.
Even though I take the Depakote all at once after dinner the nausea is all day long. Any help here?
