I had endometriosis also. My other 3 sisters have had total hysterectomies also due to endometriosis and guess what...none of us had to go through menopause symptoms. We took the meds before surgery. There is no need to go through menopause.
How much estrogen are you currently taking? I take 1.25mg of Premarin daily and have never had a hot flash.
Problem with depression is that you will want to give up easily and is hard to concentrate. Show these posts to your husband and enlist his help in finding you good treatment. He is more able to do that then you are at this time. I dont care how busy a doctor is..they are dealing with human lives.
Try to check out message boards where women have had hysterectomies and get more input.I did forget to give you this website.
