"Less" can definitely give better results than "more" in some people. I've done better on Klonopin after cutting back from 3.0 to 1.5 mg/day, and Celexa after cutting back from 40 mg. to 20 a day. Too many doctors and patients prematurely up the dosage seeking better response, when in fact the patient is just experiencing a longer (sometimes MUCH longer) kick-in time than average. This is especially true for AD's. The result can be lower efficacy, unnecessary side effects, added expense, and/or premature change to another drug when the original might have eventually kicked in and created great benefits.
