Becoming very cold before sleeping

I could be on the wrong board for this one, but I am curious if anyone else experiences this and whether it has anything to do with mental illness.
Right before I fall asleep, I get goosebumps all over my body and feel freezing cold.
When I feel it I'll even think, 'oh great, I'm about to fall asleep'. Usually it's so strong, I wonder if it will wake me up instead.
