I have GAD and my best friend says I think too much. I'll give you the advice she gave me:) Pretend you're like a senile old dog. You get up every morning with no past so everything is new. As she says, he sniffs everyone and says, And you might be? Now if you can try to think that you have no past and no future, I find it helps my mind from becoming a runaway train with no brakes. Of course, the Prozac and the valium helps too:)
