Jen - The side effects you mention (clenched jaw and sweating) should disappear within 2 or 3 weeks. The better mood you have is occurring much earlier than usual. This could be some placebo effect happening, so don't be surprized if this mood lifting drops in a few days. Celexa usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to produce a noticeable improvement in mood, as your body has to adjust to the drug before the depression lifts. Hang in there, an early response like this is often indicative of a good response to Celexa in the long run. Hope this helps - Cam W.
