Co dependence is a very common thing, especially with depressed ppl. My depression is also chemical...(great upbringing in a loving but dysfuntional home)(we put the "fun" in dysfuntional!) We are the lucky ones who can easily control our depression with the right meds. Anyway, I'm sorry if I offended you! Sarah
