another adderall perspective......
i am a new adderall groupie, i began taking it about a month ago and this has been one of the few drugs i've felt noticably different/better on. adderall was prescribed as an augmentor for effexor--i've symptoms of depression with fluxuating anxiety (it's been low for a while now), ADD, and OCD. adderall seems to help with the depression and ADD--i've more energy and while my thoughts still run quick, the adderall helps them feel much less jumbled. as others have said, it is a soft feeling, it is the whole of me as before, but a bit clearer and more energetic. and i haven't any increase in anxiety. i recommend talking to your p-doc about this.....good luck!!!

> Hi torchgirl, I am on 10 mgs. Adderall three times per day and find it helpful with my excessive fatigue. It is very gentle(at this dose), you almost think it's not doing anything, you just have a natural feeling of being more "able" to get things done. 10 mgs. is a relatively small dose, and I think that's why I don't have any problem with anxiety on it. Ritalin, on the other hand, was terrible for me. Not only did it worsen anxiety, but I had a tendancy to abuse it, because if you take enough(then take more and more), you do get a "high". Hope this info helps!CarolAnn
