>I am also fairly new to Remeron (one week) but I can't say memory is a problem for me. I am taking 15mg at bedtime and my biggest complaint has been the grogginess. I have heard it becomes less with time. My appetite has been greater since I began, but that hasn't bothered me much because I had such stomach upset before I had a hard time eating anything, so to not have an upset stomach has been a pleasure. I have heard some people have a problem with the appetite increase. What is in your appetite suppressants? Could that be adding to your stress? I can't take any diet medications at all as they increase my anxiety.
My doctor just prescribed Remeron for depression/stress. I have taken Prozac, Zoloft and Paxil before but had to stop because I couldn't remember things. Have you ever heard of that as a side-effect and will this medicine be different? It became very difficult for me to work and function on a daily basis (felt like I was early Alzheimers). I am going thru a stressful time right now and really need something to get me thru. How have people handled the increased appetite with Remeron? Is is safe to be on an appetite suppresant at the same time?
