mood stabilizers...antidepressants

I am a stepmother to a great kid,with bipolar,married to the father,,also bp,need FAST answers to the names and typs of mood stabilizers,and antidepressant drugs and the best to use together,what is the difference,how do I tell the difference,please,the names of as many as I can get,and or where to find the answers to my questions,we all [mother father stepmom and dad]feel like the doctors are not treating this the right way,the child[17] is in a mental hospital in Nevada,and we are going there soon,mother lives in Arizona,we live in Virginia,need help ASAP,thanks
