Cam-re running zyprexa

Posted by Jesse on February 21, 2000, at 11:07:50

Cam,
I guess I appreciate you're concern about my running.I'm 25 and was a competitive and successful distance runner in college (a shcolarship is what paid my tuition), and continued after college. After I graduated I obtained a professional coach and sponsership from shoe co. (nothing major they just provide equipment shoes etc). But I have won a share of raod races and some prize money. Anyway, the type of mileage I put in is standard among serious distance runners and my most recent coach and college coach have had me on similar programs (many serious running publications would also confirm this it is not excessive for highly trained runners etc and any extra weight makes hinders performance -I will onviously put that aside for the time being) I'm not competing right now because of what's going on with me but it has always been a part of my life and a serious hobby.(I think I eluded to how the aerobic exercise helps me with stress relief endorphin release etc-I'm sure you know this). Do you know any avid distance runners? It takes about an hour and a half of my day to train. I'm sure you know people who spend that much time in front of the TV or perhaps on the INTERNET (they could be digging ditches as well). (I think I'm done revealing info on psychobabble it is taking up too much time)Running is my leisure time. It has paid my way through college and has been very therapeutic. I am in counseling and we have talked about this and how it helps and is a healthy hobby.
As far as my contributions to humanity-My other hobby is acting and my degree is in physical therapy. I have helped hundreds of patients rehab from orthopaedic injuries. I am on temporary vacation right now but I will continue once things get under control.

I realize you were trying to help but I was hoping you're advice would stick to meds and my questions and not get into speculations and assumptoions about my condition and lifestyle. I cannnot afford to waste any more time explaining myself. I'm more defensive than usual during this time in my life and feel misunderstood at times as it is. No more questions or revealing of personal info on psyhobabble for me. Only occasionally to help other's or share my experiene.
Jesse
