If you don't have another impulse control disorder, then you could also try Anafranil (it's a TCA). Sometimes the addition of neuropleptics or lithium may also help to control impulses.

> I hope I'm on the right topic!Janice, Thanks for the reply. I do not get use of the internet too often. I have taken the prozac for almost a year. I am often very depressed, in fact so often that I know it will go away again sooner or later so I try not to pay much attention to it. Oh yes very depressed to where I do not care if I die. Matter of fact it does not bother me if I am alive either. I just know I will be uphappy and sad for a time. Prozac has not helped this depression but it has made me not care as much or be as anxious about being depressed. Again thanks for your reply. Also I have so much joint and muscle pain I could not run 20 feet, forget a mile. Dianels@hotmail.com
