I had SAD from before it was officially diagnosed. I think it was a sub-conscious reason for marrying a Brazilian! I too have got worse over the years. Now it's the absence of natural light that brings me down. I just have to go into a supermarket or shopping mall and my humour (which is never that great anyhow) plummets. I'm sorry I can't be of much help. I just want to say I sympathise. Whenever I feel homesick for England , I just have to remember the suffering endured during the interminable British winters and I'm cured. Take care and best wishes Janet
