I can relate. I am on my employer's Disabled Employees Council. When I first joined it the lady in charge said I had no business being there because I wasn't disabled. I told her that I was and that all disabilities aren't physically noticable. But I am having problems here such as when in an interview for a promotion my boss brought up my disability. A hugh no-no. I didn't do anything because I knew I wasn't the one wanted for the job anyway. However, lately things have been heating up again. And the sad part is that I work for the Federal Government.
Thanks again.

I'm pleased that it was of use to you, Claudea. The NYTimes site is often a treasure trove.

However he hasn't surfaced on the board since sometime before this posting was made. Hopefully it's because he's busy at a new postion which will be more rewarding for him both financialy and emotionally.
