I hear bells, phones, radio static, faint cord progressions on a piano, kids talking and crying, someone faintly whistling. But, only when I am really tired or really hyped (i.e. oversensitive to outward stimuli- my theory/could be wrong). I do know that one neurologist was convinced that it was a sign of epilepsy and consequently, prescribed Tegretol. Which I didn't enjoy, but in all honesty, I didn't hear those sounds while I was on it. Of course, I didn't hear much at all, I felt so sedated and out of it. Just a few more thoughts to throw on the fire :-)
