OK, so I'm early, and maybe most of you would rather be hiding under the covers on Saturday, but I just want to wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a merry one, or as merry as possible.
I've been feeling pretty crummy lately emotionally and physically. I just got some antibiotics yesterday to work on a sinus infection I've had for 10 days, so I hope spirits lift after the drugs start kicking in. I'm not much in the Christmas spirit this year. It seemed to come on way too fast, now it's here, and almost over. I feel as though I've been sideswiped harder than usual for this time of year.
The only stable, healthy relationship I have right now is the one with my cats. As 2004 winds down, I intend not to hope for too much. I will try to be thankful for small things like my kitties, and knitting, and candles, and my brightly lit Christmas tree, which I could stare at for hours in the dark. That's it.
Wishing you all the best.
Alli
